Joint effort to rebuild homes.

The fires in the early wee hours of Oct 11, 2016, razed a coffee shop and wet market to the ground. Livelihoods of many varnished over the night and forced residents to shop elsewhere. The damages and losses totaling more than S$6 million.

The makeshift wet market housed about 20 stalls were built in six weeks with donations from the community. This was a joint effort and our gesture at zero cost to the public.
